Membership is open to “Old Stoics”, being former pupils, both Old boys and Old girls of Stowe School, Buckingham, who have completed at least one academic year at Stowe School and have been accepted as Old Stoics by the School’s Old Stoic Society. Membership of the Society may be extended to past and present members of the Teaching staff, who have completed at least one year’s service and been admitted to the associated teaching staff alumni of Stowe School.

Annual membership of the Society is £60 (sixty pounds) per year, by Direct Debit, with payment taken on 1st January each year.
Such annual subscription to increase (or decrease) at the discretion of the Committee.
Members (except Life Members) need to set up a Direct Debit to be eligible for any fixture(s) of the Society (and to qualify for any applicable subsidy from the Society).
Life Membership is available at £40 per annum if paid in advance (up to and including the year of the 79th birthday in the calendar year), less a 10% discount, i.e. for £36 pa, effectively (a significant reduction).
Anyone 80+ benefits from free membership.
As a guide, cost of Life Membership per above would be as follows:
50+: £1,080 (max) [if taken at 50]
60+: £720 (max) [if taken at 60]
70+: £360 (max) [if taken at 70]
80+: Free (but donations gratefully accepted)
